Biofiber^®BioFiber^® is a braided sterile surgical fiber prepared from fibres of ultra-high molecular weight long chain linear polyethylene. BioFiber^® elicit a minimal of inflammatory reaction in tissues, followed by gradual encapsulation of the fiber by the fibrous tBioFiber^® Tape is an ultra-high strength 2 mm width tape using a similar long chain polyethylene structure as the BioFiber^® suture. In addition to high demand applications like AC joint reconstruction, knotless double-row rotator cuff repair & Foot & Ankle repair surgeries. The broad footprint of the BioFiber^® Tape is appropriate for repairs in degenerative cuff tissue where tissue pull-through may be a concern.
